The reason for this assignment is for you to review the difference between it's and its.  It's is a contraction.  It is makes it's.  Also, it has makes it's.  The possessive (ownership) form is its.  This is different than what you have learned about possessive.  Most of the time, we put an apostrophe in the word to show ownership.  But not for its.  Its would be used in this sentence:  Its wheel spins fast on the road.

Directions:  First try the contraction in the blank.  See if it makes sense.  If it doesn't then the answer is its.  Write your answers on a piece of binder paper.
