A kind neighbor donated 15 boxes of tissues to our class! Excellent!
Let's figure out how many total tissues we received.
Here is the word problem:
There are 5 boxes that have 100 tissues. Also, there are 10 boxes that have 200 tissues. How many tissues are there total?
Hint: Use the CUBES strategy, and you might need to make more than one number sentence. Take your time, and see if you can come up with more than one strategy!
Bonus: If there are 25 people in the class (including the teacher), how many tissues could we each use?
