THAT CROW CAWS AT ME AGAIN.
Morning. Just after dawn.
I'll go and sit under the pines
and listen, and wait
while sun climbs higher
in theCalifornia
Sunrise
Time becomes a simple hope.
The crow knows me well,
and knows I will be there.
I know him, too,
and I know the morning.
I know the pines, and the sky.
